How to Beat Stella Overview

If you like using Lunalynn to silence enemies, Stella is a more targeted version of her. She's capable of Silencing main attackers with the lowest HP on their teams (so if they haven't been investing properly in their attackers' gear and raising their HP, they won't have a good time) and countering enemies who attacked her with Silence (via her passive skill).

She also has good defensive options such as a healing ability for any ally with the lowest HP in her second active skill, as well as shields for herself from her first passive skill.

Her only weakness is that her Silence can play into the hands of witches who can cleanse them or even benefit from her debuffs.

When she is attacked, the number of turns of this skill’s［Increased DEF］decreases by 1. When Stella is attacked while she is not enhanced with this skill’s［Increased DEF］, this skill increases Stella’s DEF by 25% for 10 turns, and has a 40% chance to inflict［Silence］on 5 random enemies for 1 turn. If she is defeated by the attack, this skill will not activate.
	Level 2 (Unlocks by level 141) The amount her DEF increases by becomes 50%.
	Level 3 (Unlocks by level 221) The number of turns of［Silence］becomes 2.

Stella's ability to Silence enemies revolves around two skills: Spell of Chaos, which can Silence two enemies with the lowest remaining HP, and Sovereign of the Stars, which can inflict Silence on an entire enemy party if she gets hit without that skill's DEF debuff.

This makes her particularly dangerous as she can target glass cannon witches in the first turn and trip your team up while giving her own team more time to do more damage. However, your team should be fine if you have a witch who is dedicated to cleansing debuffs.

Stella also has two defensive options, one of which doubles as a good supporting attack. Unleash the Evil Eye inflicts an attack equal to 1200% of her ATK, while restoring HP equivalent to 50% of its total damage to the ally with the lowest HP.

Meanwhile, Stella's Sovereign Shield gives her a Shield equivalent to 800% of her ATK. Lasting for six turns, it makes her tanky enough to fire off her active skills a second time provided that she has other allies to give her protection as well.

Witches to Beat Stella

Stella Hard Counters

Any witch that can cleanse debuffs from their allies can effectively counter Stella. They can keep her debuffs off the main attackers of their teams, while those witches take care of Stella's team.

Primavera, Soltina, and other witches that can inflict Faint and other movement-hindering debuffs on their enemies can also stop Stella from executing her Silence-related skill.

Since Stella does not have any countermeasures against debuffs, she can also be silenced instead by other witches with the same ability.

Stella General Counters

Stella Sample Counter Teams

Priscilla Counter Team

A standard Cordie team, but with Priscilla along for the ride. Priscilla takes care of dispelling Silence from Stella, while Cordie focuses on damage. Primavera can be placed wherever she is needed (maybe in front of Stella herself). Mimi is there to give Cordie that much more damage in case Stella turns out to have the highest DEF in her team.

Witches Not To Use Against Stella

Any witch that can be used as a main attacker but without a dedicated dispeller that has the ability to self-cleanse is in danger from Stella's Silence debuff.

Nina

Though Nina can steal debuffs like usual, when she steals the passive from Stella's second passive skill, she could get Silenced for two turns for her trouble, blunting her potential damage and rendering the buff useless to her. Once Stella gets buffed again and Nina steals it, she'll get Silenced once more.

Tips for Beating Stella

Have Self-Cleansing Dispellers On Hand

The key to beating Stella, similarly to beating Lunalynn, is to have dispellers in your team to get rid of her Silence debuff. That witch also has to be capable of cleansing her own debuffs too just in case she gets targeted by Stella as well.

Field Warrior-Type Witches With High STR

Stella's first active skill has a 40% chance of Silencing your witches if she has a higher STR than them. So you might want to use Warrior-type witches with high STR (via runes and gear) to reduce their chance of getting Silenced down to 20%.
